USH ticket question

I recently won four one-day USH tickets :woohoo:

We have a trip planned for later this month :banana::banana:

The "complimentary" tickets, however, have blackout dates :sad2:

Does anyone know if I'll be able to purchase the '1-Day park upgrade for $45' for this ticket type?

That would be awesome-er than paying full price for tickets (well, the online price that I originally budgeted for anyway) :thumbsup2

TIA!

Congrats!
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to purchase an upgrade, unless the official rules of your contest rules explicitly say otherwise.
I recommend calling USH and asking them directly.

Sorry for not being that helpful in the end.

No. The $45 blackout day upgrade is for Annual Pass holders whose passes are blocked out of the park.

That always sounded more like a technicality to me since single-day tickets typically don't have blackout dates.
If you're up to paying, I don't see why they can't treat this any differently than an AP. Doesn't hurt to call and explain your situation.

The tickets, nor contest rules, indicate one way or the other. I called though and they stated that I COULD upgrade at the ticket booth.

Call me Captain Skeptical, but I figured I'll call one more time to see if I get a similar response....just to be sure :thumbsup2
