USH scooter and handicapped parking

I will be bringing my 82-year old mother with me to USH. She has trouble walking any distances without pain so at DL I am renting a scooter but I'm not sure what to do for USH. Can you rent one there? Does anyone know where the handicapped parking area is? I have only been to USH one other time and it felt like a 30 minute walk to get back to the car. That won't work for my mom. I am assuming there are elevators to get you to and from the lower level but I don't remember seeing them. Are they next to the escalators. Thanks so much!

The main Handicap Parking is located in the Frankenstein Parking Structure, Alas, there is a bit of a walk and elevators needed. USH does rent ECV's, but like Disneyland, only after you get inside the park/security area check.

I would contact USH and see if they would allow one out of the park to pick up your mother, or if they another suggestion. Phone Number is 1-800-UNIVERSAL.

If you a renting a scooter for the entire trip, why not just get a compact one that fits in the trunk?

Thank you, Darkbeer1. I didn't even realize that a compact scooter that fits in a trunk existed. This trip will be the first time we've ever used one. I'll check into it. If that isn't an option, I like your idea of seeing if they will let me rent one and take it out of the park to get my mom at the car.
