We will be making our first visit to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood this year. Right now we are debating about going on a Friday evening versus going on a Sunday evening. Is there a distinct crowd difference between the two nights? Also, I assume the earlier weekends are generally less crowded than the ones later into October. Is this the case?

Looking around online I have seen a couple mentions of early entry for HHN but I can't seem to find anything in the way of prices and/or details. If this is an option, how does it usually work?

Thank you!

We are heading down for our first HNN too....uber excited!! I am (im)patiently waiting for the ticket and date info to be released. By the looks of last years dates and calendars, the later weekends in October has sell outs on Sundays so maybe the Friday will be a slight bit better?

It also looks like you'll be able to pay for a front of the line pass for the event. They also offer a VIP package, but from what I have read about that, its not really worth it.

Last year the VIP experience was just ok. The free food and drinks were awesome to have. As well as the unlimited front of the line pass (go as many times as you want on an attraction or maze).

However, the VIP experience lot tour wasn't to good and needs some work.

Tickets and dates are now listed and on sale! We ended going with a front of the line pass so we can get through as much as possible.

We chose a Thursday (16th). Hoping it will be a slight bit less busy.
