I know this is a very dumb question but how do I put the podcast user bars in my sig.

Go to the user bar thread and at the top of the post there is a link to take you to the code for them. Just select the one you like and highlight and copy the code, then paste it into your signature and preview it. Just don't forget to save your signature after previewing. That is all I had to do.
