What broke? The hard drive? That's not good...can't do too much these days with a floppy drive.

Of course, you can always buy a replacement hard drive.

The new ones are just plug and play!

Al, we bought a el cheapo laptop and my neighbor got all my stuff transferred onto it.

this happened to my trusty old HP...my son is bound and determined to try again with my dell...thank God I have the extra life batteries...

I wish I could let him use this computer, but alas, it is too darn slow for his learning games and it flat out refuses to load them. It just says, "no, I shall freeze up on you now!"

It's nice to have John and his thingy back. Snarky loves company!

I have learned to keep Dell power cords away from pet bunnies too.

Fortunately I learned a split second prior to ending up with Bunny Fricassee for dinner. Pulled the dang bunny away right as the sparks started flying!
