Useless facts/Chit Chat Thread

If you don't step on the joists while walking in the attic, you're gonna put a hole in your ceiling.

Uh....did you learn this the hard way?

One of the things that make me go: "Hmmmmmm" is, Clark Griswold falling thru the attic ceiling onto his son's top bunk, and staying in the c-c-cold attic to watch home movies. Why didn't he just climb down the bunk and into the warm house?? Yep!! That's one of those things that makes me go "hmmmmmm"!!

OMG...great minds...:rotfl: I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching that movie this past Christmas season.

Although, you gotta admit he looked hilarious in the fur wrap and hat he put on to keep warm. :lmao:

Sorry to hear about your ceiling Carol. You'd think an electrician would know better. Guess he stumbled?...

I was just wondering....

How to wash a toilet
> This was simply too much of a time saver not to share it with you.
>
> 1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the
> water in the bowl.
>
>
> 2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
>
>
>
> 3. In one smooth movement put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. You
> may need to stand on the lid.
>
>
> 4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that
> come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
>
>
> 5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a 'power-wash' and
> rinse'.
>
>
>
> 6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no
> people between the bathroom and the front door.
>
>
> 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid.
>
>
> 8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and

If a dinner plate looks clean, it probably is.

After conducting my own taste test I have concluded that Cracker Barrel's coffee blend is much better than Dunkin' Donut's coffee blend. Of course, Kona Coffee beats them all....but I can't afford Kona on a daily basis. :headache:

I'm in. Just gotta get up early enough to beat the rush hour traffic in about 10 cities.

How much is the CB coffee by the pound? I need to improve my coffee. Maxwell House is starting to taste as bad as Folgers. They both run about 7-8 per pound.

The CB coffee is $7.99 a half-pound. I agree with you on M.H. & Folgers. I think they grind recycled lumber in with the coffee beans. YUK!!!

I'm in! I just have to get thru Orlando, Daytona, Jax, well.....most major cities on I-95 and head due west in Pennsylvania. Yep - about 18-20 hours should do it for me.

Do you have Kroger? I buy the Kroger Kona blend...pretty inexpensive. Not as flavorfull as 100% kona, but quite good!

This is the BIG store all around us, and if you find something you like, I could easily work out some shipping for you!!! I don't know beans about coffee, so don't ask me to try any of them, but they have TONS of different KONA.. LOL
