It was 57 degrees here this morning! What the heck is with that? I don't know where the summer has gone. It rained 26 out of 30 days in June, it was one of the coolest July's on record. Thank goodness I went to Florida in August ..or I don't think I would have experineced to much in the way of summer weather. We did have a week where the temps went up to high 80's.

We also only took the trailer camping once. Out on the Island in July to Smith Point (on the ocean)..and the water was freezing! Actually needed a sweatshirt at night it was so cool. Never used the A/C.
We have a Labor Day trip planned for Smith Point..but have to cut that short because school starts and Bob has to work. Although, being that my son drives now...and is certainly capable of getting himself to school..I'm thinking I might just stay the extra day and enjoy the weather (if it's good.)I know, bad mother huh?...

I haven't been camping this summer either!!! Last time the trailer was out was Memorial Day at the Fort!! We've just been too busy with the garage build and then I had to spend the entire month of July and a lot of August working 80 hours a week.

Frank, you and Denise need to come to Natchez Trace September 18th - 20th!!!!

At Natchez Trace State Park in Tennessee. Looks like Pin Oak RV Campground in the area of sites 47 - 62.

Never been there myself. Joining a group of Teardrop campers for the weekend.

From what I read, Universal has rights to keep what they got east of the Mississippi. No further agreements will be made and as long as the rides and characters they have at US/IOA remain operational they get to keep it. Looks like Spider Man won't be going anytime soon lol.

Is there a smelly smiley? My neighbors are cooking up something horrid for two days now.
I went outside to have my morning coffee on the deck..and gagged. It hits ya like a ton of bricks. They've got a big pot on the BBQ boiling up the stinkiest stuff on earth. They're pouring cooking oil (large cans of it..and some type of chopped up vegetable..because I can see them chopping)..and there was something scary smelling left out over night in a bowl. I tell ya..it smells like dead somethin' or another.
I've had to shut all the doors and windows. I don't even want the air conditioner on because it draws in the odor.
I can't take much more of it..I gotta get out of here.

All I want to do is start my day with a cup of coffee ....and not want to throw up. Is that asking too much?

In case ya didn't pick up on it...they're "new" to the country.
I think they had to leave their country because it SMELLED SO BAD!

Oh..and this is weird too..the cat (my one eyed wonder Ojo ..who kills every living thing he can get his paws on )...he wouldn't go out the back door this morning. I have a feeling he thinks he's gonna be next into that boiling pot of oil on the BBQ...

There is some type of meat left out..(uncovered) on the table in a tupperware bowl. Who leaves meat outside?. Then again..it probably smells to bad to take inside.
