.I just wanted to report that I got a very friendly phone call from the AKV Concierge desk just a couple of hours ago. He welcomed me and offered assistance for anything I might need for our upcoming stay. I thought it was very nice of them.

Should I be concerned that I have not recieved a call like this? I booked online, paid in full, and this was over 2 weeks ago...
Should I call or email AKL?
Ok, I'm confused.....![]()
We are booked at AKV-concierge to arrive 10/5/08. I used an on-line ADR calculator which indicated my 180 day window would be 4/8/08. Ok.....so I emailed IPO this morning with our requests, since we're trying for CRT they needed my credit card. Terry called me just a bit ago and she said she can make my CRT ADR tomorrow and that she already got our R&C lunch![]()
.
Can concierge make ADRs before everyone else? Believe me I'm not complaining, just trying to figure out for future reference.
Also, thinking of doing a specialty fireworks cruise. What kinds are there and what is their cost?
TIA
Hi, This may be a silly question but I am unsure what to do in regards to making my ADRS through the concierge. We are staying concierge at CR in Oct. My 180 mark is the 25th April. Do I have to email the ADRS to the concierge planning people exactly on that date? I was going to email them off within the next week or so but then I wondered if they would get overlooked as it was not within the 180 day timeframe...(hope that doesn't sound too confusing
) So really all I need to know is do I email them off on exactly the 180 day mark or can I do it in advance.

. Not sure how she was booking already but I'm certainly not complaining. She told me once she had everything booked she'd send me the details.I just did this last week. I emailed my list about a week in advance of my 180 day mark to AKL IPO. I gave them my dates of stay, restaurant requests/times, and home phone and cell. They did call about one ressie that required a credit card to hold. After the 180 day mark, I received a nice email with itinerary with actual confirmation numbers. They were very helpful. Feel free to PM if I can answer any more questions.Hi, This may be a silly question but I am unsure what to do in regards to making my ADRS through the concierge. You only have access to the one where your room is located. If you are staying Royal Palm then you use the Royal Palm lounge, if your staying Sugar Loaf then you use the Sugar Loaf lounge.GF, can you use either concierge lounge if you are a concierge guest?
I am not sure how to answer the 1st part of your question, however I can tell you the ESPN Club does not take ADR's. So it's 1st come 1st serve which is why you should get early to avoid a huge crowd depending on what type of game it is.I have a dumb question...
Will concierge only make your reservations for the day you are staying? What about the night you check out?
I have a split stay. There are only two ADRs I care about getting, one at Jiko the night we check in to AKL concierge and one at ESPN Club (because BF can't miss the game) the day we check out and move to new resort...

so this is good to know. All the Disney hotels have ESPN2. I swear, finding him a place to watch this game so he isn't in withdrawal all week is more stressful than dealing with airfares, ADRs, room requests...
I am sure they would be more then willing to put on the Soccer game because as you said you might be the only people there to watch it, so you won't cause anyone else to miss a game they wanted to watch there since they have 75 TV's.It's a soccer game on ESPN2 and they don't have ESPN2 at the Dolphinso this is good to know. We'll probably be the only people there who want to see it... Hopefully we can get it and hopefully they'll be willing to put one of the 75 tvs on ESPN2.
2 questions:
Could someone please post the current BC concierge e-mail?
GF, can you use either concierge lounge if you are a concierge guest?
Thanks
