The staff at the BWI is awesome. I have stayed there several times and it is wonderful. The concierge staff of Jackie, Lorenzo, Pete, Jancie and others is one of the best on propoerty. THe IPO staff is also wonderful. I have never had an issue staying there. Tee lounge was very nice, comfortable and the food offerings were excellent. They get the evening apps from the places to eat around the BWI. Are you staying in a garden suite or the Steeplechase Suite or the Sonora Suite?

Question about using concierge to book your ADRs....Our 180 day mark was on Easter, I sent all our requests for ADRs to our BC planner to make them (before Sunday). How soon should I expect them to send me an updated itinerary with the confirmations?? Should I have gotten that from them already? Do you think I should shoot them an email just asking about them, or give it a few more days? I don't want to be a nuisance.

Don't worry about being a nuisance. This is important stuff for you and this service is why you are paying CL level prices. I got a confirmation email regarding ADR's and tours I booked through AKL CL on the day after they were booked for me. I sent them an email with my requests about a week prior to my 180 and 90 day mark. On days 181 and 91, I got an email with my updated reservations.

I'd email or call BC IPO today to make sure that you got the ADR's you requested that they make for you.

generally the alcohol iss erved in the evenings with desserts. I have never actually asked for it at other tiems so i wouldnt know, but I would think that is the only time you can it alcohol otherwise ppl would be out there all day asking for it, I would think, ibut i could be totally wrong!

As to the beer question I spoke with Trish and she said it is available upon demand after 12 noon. You just have to ask for it. Can you tell I like beer. Ben Franklin said that beer is proof that God loves mankind!

Contact them via email or phone prior to 180 days out. They will get your information and will book your desired ADRs/safaris/etc. @ 180 days!

My BF will be psyched. Does anyone know what they offer? What brands? He's kind of a beer snob. I know he's looking forward to trying some South African beers at AKL.

We were going to stay at AKL, but now we are at WL. I spoke with Don at AKL and he said they usually have a Moroccan beer. He did not know the name.
