I had Entertainment reservation for 7/19-21. Yesterday, Central reservations said the 18th would be $209. Today, they said it was sold-out. So, I just went to Hotwire and grabbed all 3 nights at $114. Interestingly, when I called CR to make sure I was getting 2 double beds, I was told the rate Hotwire paid was $99. Also, I had spoken with someone who handles suites yesterday. SHe had told me that they are in the process of making their hotels available on Priceline. My guess is that if they do, they will be a few dollars less than Hotwire. But, I would still use Hotwire due to it being much easier to "guess" the hotel you will get.

Wow, on Priceline, too? :earseek:

I wonder if it will be 4 star or Resort? Right now the only resort gotten on PL in the USF area is the Renaissance and there are no 4 stars to date.

I agree, stlrod, I'd stick with Hotwire for a surer thing...

What description did you see on hotwire for RP? I see 4 stars but it does not have resort icon. Is that RP?

If it doesn't have the resort icon, it is not the RPR. The RPR is in the Universal/WetNWild area. It usually comes up for $114. The icons for the RPR are: Resort, Restaurants, Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby & Children's Activites. It is a 4-star. Make sure every icon matches.

Does anyone know if the resort icon is still used? I just punched a bunch of different dates, and was never shown the resort icon.

I recently got RP for $114/night for mid-June. The resort icon still appears.
