Spent today at MK. It was very cold this AM and not very crowded. I managed to do Fantasy Land this morning without using FP. Wait times were short. I used FP for the afternoon and was able to change things on the spur of the moment with no trouble. Several observations: The line for Peter Pan was about 15 min at 9:30 and moved along at a good pace until someone showed up in the FP line. Then things came to a screeching halt. There were few people doing FP, so I can not imagine how bad it would be if there were a lot of FP people. At Pirates, one line is FP and the other is standby. The wait time was 30 min at 4:00. That is awful considering the crowd level today. FP has more or less doubled the wait time for that ride. I waited 10 min in the FP line. I also agree that the bands take much more time for the CM's to process than the paper FP. Saddest thing was a family using a FP for Small World at 9:30 with a 5 min wait time. This is my first trip using the new stuff. It really changed the way I did things. I seemed to spend a lot of time this afternoon just sitting around and waiting. Still not a fan.

Tomorrow is our last day of an 8 day stay and have been pleasantly surprised--I was a real doubter of the new FP system. Using the Magic Bands (and there's 3 generations of us ages 5-72) is a snap. There's a technique of matching the Mickey heads together to get admission to a park, to use a FP, to open your resort door, but it's a quick study. The only issue I have is the 3 FP limit--I hope the final rollout will allow a visitor to make additional FP'S as the initial ones are used. We did find that we no longer felt the need to make rope drop to get the most coveted FPs (I.e.,Toy Story Mania, etc). So it's been a more relaxed touring style this trip.

I have an annual pass, so I have not used the MB at all. Pass works just fine!!

Glad you got onto some Fantasyland stuff without the fast passes
Have to agree that the bands take much longer than the paper fast passes, however in terms of simply "using" the fp's I am warming up to the bands, it's easier to get a variety of times for the fp and not have to be all "let's go get fp for ___….oh wait…the return time is the same as our adr" you have the freedom to move it around a little bit more
