Used Book Exchange Sent/Received

While we are not actually to the point of mailing out our books, I wanted to have a place to post.

I have PM'd everyone that sent me a list of books to exchange the book list. You have until Wednesday, March 8th to get back to me with your choices.

Everyone should choose double the amount of books that they submitted. If you submitted one book, then you choose two. If you submitted two books, then you choose four, etc.

I will do my best to see that everyone gets at least one book in their top choices.

I know you can't guarantee anything, Kirby....but what about books we already have?
I don't want to receive a repeat.....guess that is just a chance we take. At least then we would have one for the next time

DH just left for a 2 week business trip.....so I have lots of time!!
His first stop is Orlando...which is why he is leaving today....he gets a play weekend. I am so jealous!!

I'm jealous too! I could use a play weekend.

I've already heard from five people with their selections. So far it looks good without too many people wanting the same book.

There has been a little confusion as to why I am asking for double the choice over what you submitted. This is to ensure that the maximum number of books submitted is exchanged. So far, I have one book that has been chosen by three people but not in the same order of preference. That's why I am having you choose more.

This exchange will be run like the others, you won't know what you are getting until you receive it.

Also, there is a chance that just because you submitted three books that you won't receive three books. All of your submissions have to be chosen by someone. In other words, if you only mail one book, you will only receive one book. No one will have to mail out more than they receive.

Am I making sense or is everyone confused now?

I have down that you submitted two books to exchange. Both books will need to be chosen by someone else for you to mail out two exchanges. If only one book is picked then only one book is mailed. Likewise, you will receive only one of your choices.

Well, I've heard from everyone but Daxx. As soon as I hear from her I can begin matching people with the books that they have selected.

Just in case I don't get a chance to get on the computer again tonight I wanted to let you know I am chaperoning another Winter Guard competition tomorrow. I'll be out of pocket for most of the day.
