I'm kind of afraid to post, because I want to say, "Excuse me, but I think you have your terminology wrong." But the last time I did that, the person really blew up at me.
"Use Year" means the month that you get your allocation of points each year. If you have a February Use Year, then you get your points on February 1 each year. If you have a March Use Year, then you get your points on March 1 each year.
Each of the
DVC resorts has its own contract ending date. If you purchase the Villas at Grand Floridian, the contract end date is 01/31/2064. If you purchase Animal Kingdom Villas, the contract end date is 01/31/2057. It doesn't matter if you purchase AKV today, or purchased last month, or last year, or when they first started selling AKV contracts. All AKV contracts have the same ending date.
Old Key West was the first DVC resort. People were given the option of purchasing an extension on the contract end date. So some contracts end in 2042 and some end in 2057.
