I have a December use year.
When would be the eariliest i could borrow points from my 2010 use year to book a vacation within 2009?

As long as your points will be available at the time of the reservation and you are within your booking window you can book at any time.

For example, if you want to stay at WDW in August '09 you are now within your booking window for that period. Even if you have to borrow points to make the reservation you can do it now. The points must be available for the date of the stay, not the date the reservation is made.

Since it is your 2008 points that you would be using to vacation in most of 2009 the earliest you could use 2010 points for a vacation would be for Dec 2009 reservations. You can make that reservation in January of 2009.

But Aug 2009 would be in the poster's 2008 use year. The earliest they could call and use 2010 points would be in January for a December 2009 vacation.

2010 points can be borrowed into 2009 for vacation dates Dec 1, 2009 thru Nov 30th, 2010.

Thank you for your replies!
We planned huge vacations in our 2008 use year, only have about 170 points in 08 left, and i'm already planning on our next trip in late 2008-09, and was trying to figure when we could start possibly booking. We generally have friends with us, and use 2 bedroom units... may have to get a little creative here.
