Use year breakdown

Does anyone know if the points are evenly allocated at each resort for every use year? In other words, do all the use years have the same number of points. Thanks.

It does not appear that a resort's points are equally distributed among the 8 UYs. For example, at BWV the most common UY is December with 19.46% of BWV's points, while September is the least common UY with 7.83%. At VWL, August has 23.72% of that resort's points, while the March UY has only 6.17% of VWL's points.

BLT's UYs are even more unbalanced with February being the most dominant UY. About 26% of BLT's points is still to be declared, but even all of those points are placed in the other UYs, February will still end up with about 34.4% of all of BLT's points.

I don't understand their distribution of UY's either. I have asked several Guides and upper management and never received a good answer.

The Guides were told to sell BLT with a February UY. If a buyer wanted a different UY, the Guides had to get approval from their manager.

I'm sure that there is a Disney reason for this but we will probably never know what it is.
