Use SAB before 4:00 check-in?

We plan to arrive at BCV around noon. I don't expect the room will be ready that early, but you never know. Our only other DVC stay was a few years back at OKW and I think we checked in around 1:00. In any case, if we can't check in until 4:00 will we be allowed to get a wristband to use SAB while we are waiting?

Assuming you get key cards at check in, yes. Without them the pool area CMs will have no proof you are staying at the Yacht or Beach.

That stated, I could readily tell you how easy it is to get into and use SAB without a wristband, but some here get all worked up about that, so I won't.

Check in as soon as you get there and you will get your KTTW cards and that's all you'll need to go to SAB

You can use the health club lockers/showers! Again, just show them your room key!

I don't think it was just that. Employment/enforcement of the "wristband" policy overall is as lot lighter than the mythical levels many here imply. I was at the Yacht Club over a major, busy holiday period (Memorial Day weekend) last year. During our whole stay the pool CMs in general were neither handing out nor looking for wristbands. Personally, I believe that had to do with staff cutbacks (there were more often than not no CMs at the entry gates, so anyone could walk in - and did).

And if people think that was just a "unusual quirk," then they are welcome to explain to me how several people in my party (which was staying at the Boardwalk) was able to readily walk over and into (and use) SAB several times during our President's Day week stay last February. That is to say the least NOT an off-season period.

When we were at BWV in April, we walked over to see the resort and restaraunts. We went out to the pool. Nobody said a word. All the lifeguards were dancing, some kind of afternoon dance party I think was going on.
