Use points for cruise?

Our family might be interested in a cruise (2 adults, 2 children). Can I use our points for both adults and pay cash for both kids?

Yes, I recently booked a cruise on the Dream for April '12 and paid cash for our 2 kids and used points for DH and I. We had to pay the $95 fee and also had to pay for the kids in full when we booked. HTH.

Did you just pay the rate for 3rd/4th person in the room for the kids. I'm thinking of this for March 2012. Just looking at the 3 night cruise and for 6 of us for cash would be almost $3000, as we'd need 2 rooms. I can use points for all of us, but if it's just the 3rd or 4th fee for the kids, may pay cash and save some points.

Also, I saw on the website that it says if you wanted to book a suite for more than 5, have to call the agent directly. Anyone have a guess of the cost for 6 people in a suite?
