Use of extra TS credits

Here's the deal... DH and I arrive in the world on Feb 3 for a 5 night stay at CBR with DXDDP. Then on Feb 8 we move to AKL CL where our 2 youngest children(DD-13 and DS-9) will be joining us. (They still don't know! Parents are flying with them into Orlando. :cheer2: I can't wait for the Christmas surprise! pixiedust: )
I have all of our reservations made but at the moment I have two extra TS credits. So I'm wondering if I would be able to use the extra credits for the kids on the 8th. We have Sanaa booked for lunch with a large group of family and then Jiko booked for dinner for the four of us. I had already budgeted for TS credits for the day for DH and I but I am uncertain what to do with those last two credits. I would hate to not use them before then and not be allowed to use them with the kids on the last day of the SPD part of our trip.

I would appreciate any input!

ADR's scheduled
2/3 CG 7:40
2/4 VN 11:30
YC 7:30
2/5 CM 9:05
Nar 6:30
2/6 FF 5:30
2/7 CP 8:30
V&A 6:00
2/8 Sanaa 12:00
Jiko 7:45

They'll see the amount of people and ages on your reservation. If it lists 2a you wouldn't be able to use 4 credits (and the plan obviously says this is against the rules).

If you really can't figure out how to use the credits I'd a) make sure the plan is actually saving you money or b) grab some to go things that you can store and eat later. At your resort food court you may be able to get 3 snack items credited as 1 meal credit - no guarantees.

Where else are you eating? Maybe change a regular dinner to a Signature restaurant so you don't waste any credi t s?

I just added Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch (12:25) on our arrival day. I'd rather be safe than sorry. I just asked the question because I thought that I had read on here (a few times) that people have been able to use the credits as such.

The DxDDP was DH's only demand for this trip. It looks like we will come out even or a little ahead. But overall we enjoy the prepay aspect of the plan. Without it I would be rather anxious about the food budget throughout the whole trip.

We just do the regular plan, but the prepay/convenience aspect is the same reason we do it. I'm even ok with losing money on it, since we do it for the convenience.

We park are you in on 2/6? I may add a TS lunch or breakfast there to use up that extra credit.

On the 6th we don't really have plans until the evening starting with the Flying Fish. Then we are going to walk over to Epcot. Depending on how we're feeling we might venture to Downtown Disney earlier in the day. Who knows! I think that is going to be our semi-relaxing day before the kids arrive. I figure once they get there it's going to be run-run-run.

As for the plan itself, I love the convenience and DH loved not feeling like he had to order the cheapest thing on the menu. He also doesn't worry about ordering the most expensive. For us it just changes the overall experience and it's worth it to us.

At DTD you could grab a lunch at Raglan Road. Usually not crowded for lunch so wouldn't need an ADR for just 2. Good pub food, 1TS credit, and good Irish beers.
