Use egift card at Rainforest in Disney Springs?

I am finally ready to cash in for a gift card from Mypoints. They have RFC, but you can choose either a physical gift card or egift. I prefer egift so I don't have to worry about it getting stolen in the mail. Will I have any issue using this at RFC in Disney Springs? I am also going to sign up for the Landry's club for our late August trip. When should I do this to be certain to receive all the rewards and card but not have them expire?

We haven't been since November 2014 but I used an egift while at RFC at disney then. I called to verify with them before ordering it.

I used an egift card from mypoints in December at the Disney springs Rainforest and then 2 weeks ago at the Rainforest at Animal Kingdom
