Use Disney Gift Cards at Food & Wine Booths

We don't want to charge to our room or dig out cash to pay at the booths at the Food & Wine Festival so we wanted to use a pre paid card.
Do you have to purchase a special food & wine gift card to use for payment or can we use regular Disney Gift Cards instead?
We were given some as gifts so I already have them.

Regular Disney gift cards are good to use. No special gift card needed. Enjoy!

You can get Food and Wine gift cards that come right on a bracelet. One of those coiled, elastic bracelets. So you have easy access.

I used the disney gift cards from target last year but they had issues scanning them quickly so sometimes I had to just use my magic band.

The F&W gift cards are about half the size of credit cards and the "bracelet" is just a cheap plastic coil. No charge other than your money load.

We charged to the room and then used the Gift Card to pay down the room charge. Our room had a credit card guarantee attached, but as long as you apply the Gift Card before the morning of checkout they will apply that to the outstanding charges.
