USAirtours will soon start work on it's new development at West Haven just 8 miles from WDW.
Work starts on the all-suite 4* hotel next summer,bringing forward the opening date to spring 2005.
As well as the new hotel the $15 million development includes 800 holiday homes.It will be the largest number of holiday homes under one management in Florida,bringing 'logistical' benefits.Vacation homes are the fastest growing area of leisure from the UK in Orlando.Construction of the homes is due for completion by Easter 2006.
It is not decided if the hotel will be run independantly or as a franchise.The hotel will be aimed at the premium market because the 'cheap and cheerful' end is suffering.
