USAIR??? Good bad & ugly anyone????

I need some feedback on them before I book. I have never flow with them? Has it been a good experience or not so good? I am a little nervous.

I am flying from EWR to MCO with one stop over. The price is 94.00 for the flight. Great fare, but without knowlege about the airline, I am not so sure to book.

Any advice would be great.

I'm sure that Safetymom will chime in on this as I belive taht she flies them quite often, but in my book there is no 'bad or ugly'. (Except if they pull out of Star Alliance now that they have merged with America West, of which there is talk)

I find their staff freakishly friendly and kind and have never had any issues. Like my United flights, they are simply unremarkable flights, which is a very good thing.

I'm Chairman's Gold on US Air, they are my carrier of choice. That's a great fare, I'd run with it!!

I really miss flying USAir. We switched to AT when they began to raise their flight prices early last year. There was also that pesky bankruptcy looming.

Must say, their flight staff is professional and effecient; vs AT's unenthusiastic attendants.

Also, don't recall them cancelling/changing flight times either.
Hope they plan to offer some sale fares we can take advantage of in the future.

I have never had any problems with UsAirways, the only thing you have to watch (and this is true with other airlines as well) if you book your flight far in advance they do change the flight times periodically.

I'm Chairman's Preferred on US Airways. I really like them. I have been flying them almost weekly for a long time now. They are my carrier of choice

My carrier of choice for business travel on non-stops (they do not fly non-stop from Pittsburgh to Minneapolis or Atlanta, 2 of my frequent business trips). I do miss flying them to Orlando for vacation, their fares are much higher than Southwest or Airtan.
