A recent USAir flight was cancelled the day before the flight, with the reason being "crew availability". We weren't notified, I happened to check the flight status and saw the cancel. Today I received an email apology from USAir for the "travel difficulties" we experienced. And they are offering an Electronic Air Check Plus. Is anyone familiar with this? How it works? Is it a discounted flight? Or free ticket? The email doesn't offer much info, just says to call at least 2 weeks before booking next flight and that it's valid for 1 year. Thanks for any help.
