Since when has the Cast Member board been available for anyone to see? I just tried to visit there while not logged in and I could access it.

I'll have to look. Something might have happened with a recent update.

If there was an error and it gets fixed just a thought. That board was visible in the past though not accessible without asking for access through Doc (now gone). In recent years, it has not been visible at all. CM's would not know there was such a board therefore not asking for access, now from somebody else. Maybe go back to being visible as a board, with a note below it, indicating to ask for access from whomever.

@WebmasterCorey - well there's been a small change. The Disney Cast Member board is still available for everyone to read, but only actual members of that board can reply on it. I think most members appreciate being able to talk freely on that board knowing they aren't "breaking the rules" about talking about things like perks in public, so I'm hoping that things change back soon.

How would a CM know that the board exists to be able to request access?

I just updated the description with my email. The forum and threads are viewable to everyone, but only Cast Members can view the content of the thread, similar to the Controversial setup. Let me know if that's not the case and I’ll keep working on it.

I can see the forum and I can also open the forum and see the existing threads. However, if I click on a thread, no access. And your messages there at the top directing to contact you for CM access.

Okay there was another thread for this but no one from here is responding anymore.

I keep getting redirected while using the boards. I'm mostly in the DCL board. If I'm replying to a board when it happens (just happened now) I can come back and my reply is saved. But if I'm trying to update my PTR, it erases everything i had done.
This is happening so much that, even though im super excited about my cruise and do want to write a trip report, I am starting to avoid the site. It will not stop for me. This recent one while typing this was so bad it was locking my keyboard and I couldn't even hit the back button, I had to close the browser completely (on mobile but it happens on my laptop and desktop too).

As guessed in the other thread, I believe it is an ad that, upon finally loading on the page, automatically sends me to another page. Something star and recently a "virus check" site.

It is horrible. I cannot enjoy the site anymore. There's no way I can write a trip report with this going on. It's happened to a lot of other people too.

I use my ipad with safari and have Adblock, when I log onto the DIS. I have not been able to log onto the site for days. In desperation, I tried using my desktop computer, with Edge, to log on now. Everything seems to be working on the desktop. So, until the problem is fixed, I will only be logging on periodically on the desktop and checking.
