USA vs. Bed Bugs

How do you eradicate bed bugs with government intervention? :confused3

One first must do an environmental study to determine if the particular subset of a particular species is endangered. If they find that they are endangered, perhaps hotels rooms across the country will have to be shut down in order to protect them. First things first.

I think another stimulus would go a long ways in eradicating bed bugs

I think another stimulus funded by taxpayers would definitely eradicate something :rolleyes1

Just to make this Disney-relevant....remember that in Lilo and Stitch, the mosquito is a protected species. :rotfl: I guess the galactic government is pretty much like every other government.

Good one Punkin! Oh, and BTW - like the nickname :}

The government is already doing something. Global warming has to be good for eradication of the bed bug.

Dang, I miss DDT. :lmao:

I grew up in the sticks and we had a creek just an acre or two from our house, as well as a spring fed tiny pond. When we'd get rain, the creek would overflow and the surrounding area would stay damp. In other words, there was water around, just perfect for mosquitoes.

Yet we never had any. Plenty of lightning bugs, but no skeeters. Our relative worked for the county as the "bug man," meaning he drove the truck that sprayed the chemical that killed the skeeters. We'd spot him heading our way and Mama would yell at us to get in the house and close all the windows. :scared1: He'd sit out by our driveway for an extra long time, just letting that toxic cloud of godknowswhat float over our property. Don't have a clue what it was, but it sure killed those mosquitoes.

The stuff the bug man sprays nowadays is puny and trifling. :sad2:

Obviously there is a natural solution that just hasn't been implemented in indoor environments. Birds have long been the natural predators of all kinds of bugs. I think that by releasing an assortment of blue birds, chickadees and sparrows in each room will minimize the bed bug problem and if they can teach them to sing on cue, so much the better.
