Received a call from usa vacation station and was offered a 4 days, 3 nights stay for Orlando and a 3 day, 2 night stay in Daytona with 5 other nights in Caribbean for 598 for family of four. The Caribbean is only for two people. Said it can be used anytime without blackout dates for up to 12 months, but could be renewed for another 12 months. Have to sit through a 90 minute resort presentation. Anybody know anything about this company? I'm always leary of things like this, but would love a cheap vacation. Gma always said if it sounds too good to be true, it is! Just thought I'd see if the experts would know.

I would check to see what the other "fees" are. I had a friend who purchased one and every time went somewhere she had to pay a "resort fee" and a "booking fee" She had to contact them to book, then wait for them to get back to her about availability. Once they figured out she wasn't going to buy a timeshare, they put her in the crappiest resorts and in the crappiest rooms.

My wife got the same phone cal
To good to be true it deffinetly is. I'm here now in a 1980's decorated room in a
condo that I have to maintain. Washing my own towels each day so we can fight to get into our shower( door just about broke and just like our entry door. Outside of the pool this place is a joke. Taxi need to go anywhere at $30 trip each way no free shuttle. And if you do come do not buy your tickets from them BAD tickets

Are you in Mexico? I know that might be a sham, wondering about Orlando and daytona which I'm considering for the kids.

Yes, I had read some negative reviews, too. We didn't participate. I did wonder about it. Always looking for a vacation deal.

We just got back from a trip we purchased from USA Vacation Station--Promotions Department. Still not sure why they contacted us but I am glad they did!

We had a wonderful time, Hubby and I and the kids were able to use all 3 trips at once, we had extra miles!!!

We stayed at the Mystic Resort where we took the required--"Tour" (90 minute presentation) which was fine--we were also responsible for room taxes which were $6.00 per night but we were warned that we would be responsible.
We had no hidden fees and we had a GREAT time at Disney, the two tickets we were offered from the Promotions department helped off-set the family pass that we got so I would recommend this to anyone!

We stayed in Ocean front accommodations in Daytona--My Boys thought that was the Cats Meow! lol

We left the Boys with Grandma for our trip to Cabo San Lucas!
It really was all inclusive; all our meals, entertainment and Cocktails were included! Yes once again we had room taxes but that was it.......so if they call you I would say take the trip, Take the Tours....it was worth every penny of the $598.00 I'm wondering if they will have another trip package soon maybe to the Bahama's or somewhere exotic!! :cool1:

What a first post - yeah, you're no one from the company trying to build up business.....

Haha, the one post wonders all seem to appear on these threads.
I have gotten postcards with these vacation offers- usually avoid taking the bait because of the high pressure - and definitely longer than the advertised 90 minute - tour/sales pitch.

That said, in 1994, we got an offer for a Florida vacation/Bahamas cruise from Vacation Break USA. That one time we took the bait. It was DH and me with our four month old son. The hotel was in Cocoa Beach, it was alright, nothing spectacular. It was early April, and overcast all three days, so we never made it to the beach. The cruise was a three night Big Red Boat cruise, and it was great. We had a great time on that cruise.
At the time, NY had a law in effect prohibiting the forced attendance at a timeshare sales pitch in exchange for a reduced price vacation. We were told this up front and upon check in at the hotel, and also in a note left in the room, and a telephone message. It was great- if I knew for a fact the law was still in effect, I'd do another one of these vacation for a cheap getaway.

Yeah, the first thing i did when I saw that post was look at the post count . Nice try.

I found this site looking for discounted tickets for my cousin and
saw the negative post about a company I happened to have
The pleasure of doing business with so I gave them a mention here.
I would do this for Any business. I am not an employee
Nor am I affiliated with them I did however feel
The need to voice my opinion isn't that what this page is for?
:confused3

Okay straight forward I received what I thought was a random call precisely because I live in Calgary but we can say I took the bait and made the purchase immediately following our Christmas holiday because my husband and I had plans to weekend in Miami for our anniversary in February. We have just returned home from the Newport beach resort and it was fantastic there was a restaurant there that has all you eat lobster and there was no hidden fees just the hotel taxes that the woman informed me of when she set me up with it infact the woman was very patient with me and made sure my dates were available for the holiday we are to take in March with the children and I can say we are looking forward to it we will have a condo there I usually don't fall for sales calls but I am glad I did bottom line if you want to save money you must sacrifice something and the hour and 48 minutes we spent was fair because we did get breakfast and we didn't get pressure like in our past experiences. So far so g:-):thumbsup2

Hmmm. Registered on a Disney website just for the purpose of bumping a zombie thread that died twice in the past year. Glowing recommendation for a timeshare place that has a poor online reputation. Are you also selling oceanfront property in Arizona? :rolleyes2

Thanks for posting. This company just called me and while on the phone I of course google them and found this thread. It kept me from spending money. Thank you all.

I was looking for a charge today on my visa and ran across a $495 charge from USAVacations from 2012. I vaugely remember this happening honestly, but it's been 2 years now. Can anyone help me get my money back....had any success etc? I am in California and yes, got that call, and stupidly bit the bullet. AGH. So I didn't use in a year....am I out of luck? anyone deal with this stuff and can share?

RUN LIKE HELL!

I got the vacation station call this summer and took the bait. I never received the package that was supposed to come within 10 business days. I finally got around to calling them this week to let them know that I did not receive it and that I had the USPS tracking number and it did not show delivery. At first the customer service rep told me they could email the information again but couldn't mail it again. She said it was because it included "live" information. Whatever that is. After being on hold 10 minutes with a Lionel Richie song that loops about 30 seconds in, she came back and said she would mail it again.
This deal is for the Orlando, Daytona Beach, Cabo San Lucas deal that was mentioned in an earlier post. The condos look older and I read some reviews on them that were just so so.
We are Disney people, but wanted a way to take our kids to Universal Studios and a beach outside of Texas on the cheap, so we will try it. I will post again after we go.
Cross your fingers, please. :)
