I agree with Rob, and maybe you should take more, depending on what you intend doing on holiday. They include;

It's easier to use cash in the parks.
If you're driving You'll probably have to pay tolls, although it is possible to avoid them.
Bars seem to prefer cash to CC or TC's.
If you're staying in a hotel you should leave the cleaners a dollar a day.
If you take TC's you may need to carry ID, like a passport.
Tipping is easier with cash. Porters don't take CC's !

The only downside is the security aspect. Keep you cash in the safe. Only take what you'll need, and split it between you. If you're going to the water parks protect it in plastic bags.

Whichever way you choose you'll get ripped off by the banks. Cynical aren't I.
