US Purchased Gift Cards in Tokyo

Hello! My co-workers Disney loving son has been deployed to Tokyo. Can she send him Disney Gift cards to use in Tokyo parks?

I don’t think you can use the Disney gift cards at TDR but someone can correct me if I’m wrong

Gift cards purchased in the US may only be used in the US, Canada and Cruise Lines. They cannot be used in any of the non-US parks.

Just wanted to add that Disney Visa reward dollars cannot be redeemed in TDR either.
