We will be at Disney next week and have decided to pop over to US on our last day. Since we only have time for one park which park would you recommend? I wish we could do 2 days but we are staying OP at Disney and our tickets are included. We have Children 3, 5, 8, 9, 11, 15 (only 3 of them are mine) and 5 Adults. Thanks for any advice.

I prefer IOA, but it depends on what types of things you like to do. If you tell us more about yours and the childrens preferences we could help you more.

The 3 and 5 year olds are girls the older ones are boys. The 9 and 11 year old live in Florida and have been to Disney 3 times this past year. Their favorite parks there are MGM and MK and they love the Tower of Terror. The 8 year old I am not sure how he will be on the rides. We haven't been any place like that since he was 4 1/2 and 15 year old is up for anything. Like most boys 15 he is really into movies and video games and theme parks. Hope this helps.

That's a tough one. You could probably all find something you like at both. At USF, the little ones have the playland areas and you could all do ET, MIB, Jaws, Twister and Earthquake.

However at IOA, the little ones would love Seussville and Pteranadon Flyers, see the Triceratops and the flying Unicorn and you could all ride Spidey, the water rides, Jurassic Park, Cat in the Hat, One Fish..., Terminator, Poseidan's Fury and go to the Sinbad show. Daring kids would love the coasters and Dr. Doom and the more exciting water rides.

I'd probably choose IOA. Suessville is really cute right now.

Another IOA vote here!
Kids will love telling their friends they went there. Great mix for all ages there too.

US here, because you can take the small kids on the Woody Woodpecker Coaster, Curious George,Barney,ET,and Animal Planet. Also, you can do Twister,Earthquake,Ghostbusters Holiday Extravaganza(If this is still here),Jaws,BTTF,and MIB.(Sorry that you can't do Hanna Barbera).Have fun, though!:bounce:

Don't forget that Nickelodeon studios is at USF too. but if they like thrill rides, IOA is where it is at.

We did both parks in one day....and you can get pretty good deals on tickets....tons of stuff for kids of all ages at both parks...

Just a thought!!!

Either park is equally good and both have things to offer young kids it's a tough call, I would say IOA but I am partial to USF.

IOA will have everything open as USF will have 2 rides down, you could do both parks in a day if you don't want to see any of the shows and only want to ride the rides.

It depends on if you plan on going back in the near future. If so I would spend my day at IOA and go back to visit Universal Studios once Shrek and Jimmy Neutron have opened. There is plenty for all the children to do. Have fun!

I'd agree, May 2003 would be the best time to go when the 2 rides are open. Spring 2004 would even be better all 3 new rides would be open.
