We will be spending 3 nights at HRH next month and plan to arrive in the early afternoon to the studios. My question is how much do you think we will get done from say 1pm until around 7 or 7:30? How are the express pass lines in the summer afternoons? If it helps it will be myself, DH and DD 11 so there we won't be doing any water play areas and my DD will not ride The Mummy or any coaster like ride but will ride simulators.

Also are characters out in the afternoon and evenings or primarily in the mornings?

Thanks in advance for any help you experts you can give. We are normally in the park first thing in the mornings at opening so this is new territory for us.

you can get a ton done having express or you can just take a walk around the hotel (I learned recently that they have maps available of all the music memorabilia if you ask) get settled in your room....take in the pool and dinner at city walk. Do you have 3 day tickets or something longer?

We have 3 day park to park but I wanted to spend a day at Seaworld. My original plan was to arrive at Seaworld on arrival afternoon and stay until closing but since the announcement of Miranda Cosgrove's performance at US on the 14th, my DD is dying to go to the concert so I am trying to fit everything in a short period of time.

If you want to be close to the stage for the concert, you will need to arrive by late morning to grab a spot. Otherwise you're going to end up watching from the outskits of the viewing area but that's not a bad thing. If you aren't concerned about getting up front, take your time arriving and just pick a spot to stand. The concert starts at 8pm and the Cinematic Spectacular show at the lagoon starts at 9:30pm.
