US Money question for Canucks!

Anyone know if I can exchange money and ask for rolls of US quarters and pennies?

Flying into MCO and hoping to have some on hand for pressed pennies.

If you give your local bank notice (about a week or so?) they can ensure you have a roll of pennies and quarters.

they don't usually deal in change, so you make sure you contact them.

I think this must vary from place to place. Our bank doesn't exchange coins, period. Suggest you call your bank first. My advice would be to obtain coins once you get to Florida.
We "save" all the US coins we get in change at home, try to accumulate some while we visit the US, and put it all in our US coins piggy bank at home. Coins and $1 bills in US funds are often difficult to obtain.

It depends on where you are. I've had two banks in Ottawa (Scotia and RBC) tell me they don't do coins. I've even asked at Accurate. They thought I had lost my mind. The banks will give me what's in their til at par but other than that, I just collect as the year goes on. I have a friend that goes to the US on occasion so I ask her to get me rolls of quarters and pennies at Walmart or wherever. We got caught one year having to throw Cdn quarters into the toll booths because we only had US bills, no change. Ended up running the toll I think but at least we tried to pay.

Canadian pennies are the same as US so I would use those. Quarters are a different thing.
