planning summer vaca and colleagues having debate now..
if family of 6 have never been to these 2 parks .. what would you do..
buy a 3 day or 4 day ...

bottom line , just wondering if 3 days is enough for first timers or spend a bit more and buy 4 day tix.... family has kids ages 12-19:upsidedow

You could do it in three but I would recommend 4 days. You can take it a bit slower and really soak everything in while giving the kids plenty of time to ride the rides multiple time if you are staying on site with the fast pass but enough time to ride everything at least once even if you have to wait in long summer lines.

Good to hear 4 days is enough as we are going for the first time (DH has been before, but not for many years) in July! Exciting!

Three days should be plenty of time to do what you want to do. If you wanted to add another day, you can always upgrade at Guest Services and pay the difference between the three and four day tickets...its not much.

This is the best advise. :thumbsup2

They would charge you whatever the price difference between the three day and four day tickets which is about $7.00. When your ticket is scanned, they will know what you paid for it and charge accordingly. Its really not much at all which is why you want to go for more days.

For example...the three day park to park ticket is $152.99 per adult and the four day ticket is $159.99 per adult plus tax...this is from the Universal website. You would pay the difference between the two tickets. But...with the four day only being $7.00 more, I would go ahead and purchase the four day ticket in the first place.
