We are planning a trip to WDW in April of 2009 with our 5yo DS and 3yo DS. We are going to spend 4 days at WDW and I'm debating making a week of it in Orlando and wondering if US/IOA would be good choices for younger kids like ours, or if the attractions are more geared towards older kids and adults. Our older son is big into Spiderman, which is why I thought this might be a good choice, but I don't want to take him somewhere where he (and his little brother) are too young to ride on or enjoy most of the attractions. Any thoughts? Also, would you recommend either Universal or Islands of Adventure for that age, or should we visit both?

Hey, I took my youngest last year, he just turned 6 and we had a great time at US.The spiderman ride is great but a little intense. If your 5 is brave it's not bad, no way for the 3 year old. The log ride is nice for the older one and their is plenty for little ones. Woody's tree house is cool, they both will like that. We spent 3 hours their.A small roller coaster was a lot of fun Flying something,I think both would like that. Great rides but most is geared for older kids, my other 2 kids loved it and can't wait to go back 11 & 13. I liked it and it's okay for little ones but it's not disney but we will be back Jan 16-20 2009.

We are taking our almost 5 and 2 year old this December. My oldest was three last fall when we tried IOA and US for the first time and she LOVED everything. She is brave though so it might depend on what scares your kids. She loved Spiderman and was devastated that she wasn't tall enough for MIB and a Jurassic Park. (She is this year and she cannot wait)! There is so much cool stuff to see and do there I say definitely take them!! Especially if you want some cool adult rides.

We are going back Oct 2009 and giving a wdw a miss and only doing us/ioa & seaworld this time with our ds who will be 5yo then. I'm not worried at all. He loved everything wdw, so will love us etc. He can't wait to meet Scooby doo and spiderman. As much as he can, he will go on as he has no fear. I'm sure your kids will love it.
