US/IOA Park Hours in early August - why different for each park?

We are spending two days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure from Sunday 3rd August 2014.

We are staying at an onsite hotel so we will be eligible for early entry. I was trying to work out what time early entry would be and looked at the park hours on the Universal website.

However, instead of being the same for each park, it currently shows IOA opening at 8am but US opening at 9am on both 3rd and 4th August?

As you can now travel between the parks I assumed the opening hours would be the same. Does anyone know if this is correct or have Universal just not updated their website for August hours yet?

It could be that they expect everyone to go to Diagon Alley first, but I think based on the current response to the land opening and gauging that, those hours probably will change.

Will Universal update the official park hours for August anytime soon, or will this only happen a few days before?

They are still showing different opening times for IOA and US.
