US/IOA in October

Our family is looking at our first ever Universal trip this October during the Canadian Thanksgiving - 2 or 3 days at the parks. We will be staying offsite and renting a car. Anyone have experience going in October? What will the crowds be like?

Our family is looking at our first ever Universal trip this October during the Canadian Thanksgiving - 2 or 3 days at the parks. We will be staying offsite and renting a car. Anyone have experience going in October? What will the crowds be like?

Crowds should be higher this year at the Studios than in the past because of the opening of Diagon Alley this summer. How much more crowded? No one knows yet but you also have Halloween Horror Nights to consider as well. The Studios will close early on those nights for set up so you'll have less time. IOA however is usually not bad but I think WWoHP will have more visitors than in the past. I think you can bet on moderate to busy crowds most days at both parks in October.
