US/IOA 1-day Touring plan-advice?

Is this doable for one day? We are going in October, Friday before Columbus Weekend.

Car service from disney resort-
Be there for park opening, go to:
IOA: WWoHP
Tour: HP and the Forbidden Journey, possibly Flight of the Hippogriff. (no dragon coasters for us, lol)
Shops: All! (girls can't wait to go to Olivander's!)
Lunch: 3 Broomsticks
Tour: Jurassic Park, Spiderman rides

US: Revenge of the Mummy, MIB, Simpsons, Horror Make-Up Show

(truthfully, I really only want to ride Revenge of the Mummy, but $30 for one ride pushes me to see some other attractions at US.)

I think we can pull this off and be back to our Disney Resort by 7ish, yes?

We've never been to Universal, the addition of HP is too good to pass up.

Hmmm...well...I think that's going to be tough.

You are going to spend most of your day at IOA for WWoHP which may or may not leave you some time to do the Studios. I don't think you'd have too much trouble doing Spiderman since most people will probably be at WWoHP.

Keep in mind too...Fridays in October are HHN nights and the Studios will close at 5pm for set up. You might have to purchase Express passes so you can do what you want w/o waiting in lines all day.

The park hours might change if the crowds for WWoHP are still huge but based on last year's hours...you're talking 9-7 at IOA and 9-5 for the Studios.

Since you've never been, make sure you look at the website and see what you want to do at both parks to get a general layout. Spiderman is at the front of the park and Harry Potter is in the back.
