Hi
We will be in Florida next April, we fly into orlando on the 3rd we will be staying for 21 nights. My ? is would any one have any idea on when the Americans take their Easter breaks. Will i have 21 days of busy parks and waiting in q's for hours.
We visited april 2004 and got to Florida on the 14th i know that we had a couple of busy days but it wasn't as bad as i had expected.

Thankyou
marv

The two weeks around Easter (this year April 16) are among the busiest at WDW. Many schools in New England have the week after Easter as their April vacation, so that may add to the folks visiting Florida.

I would suggest you go with a plan, and arrive at the parks early to cut down on your waits.

I think you MAY be fine April 3-7. After that the crowds should really pick up.

You should have a game plan ready and have all of your PS set before leaving home.

My son and I will be there April 12-23. :cheer2:

If you arrived April 14 in 2004 you caught the Wednesday to Friday after Easter when crowds were still Eastertime large. If you were in WDW April 14, 15, or 16, 2004 and thought it was not bad then mentally you will probably be OK. If those are the "couple days" you are referring to as "busy" then be aware you will have two solid weeks of those next year from April 8 through 20; crowds before and after those dates will be better. Those two weeks surrounding Easter are traditionally two of the three most crowded weeks of the year (the other is Christmas Week) and lines for popular rides will get to 2 hours or more for much of the day.

Thanks for the info, i followed a plan last time the 15th we arrived the 16th we shopped, the 16th we did AK, 17th we did MGM on the 16th we did MK to see whishes i can remember the crowds were huge but it was great we loved it. I followed the Brits Guide To orlando last time and went to every park on qiet days or moderate days it seemed to work well.
Ill just keep an open mind head to the rides we really want to do first but as we have seen it all already, we just want to take all in this time do it all a bit slower. I think it best to go to each park with an open mind and see what the day brings us.

Thanks Marv

We will be there April 14 - April 22. That is our Easter break here in CT.
Definitely nervous about the crowds at that time but looking so forward to it.
