US Disney Gift Card at DLP

Hoping someone can help me out with this.

I have a US Disney gift card. Is there any way I can use that online or over the phone to pay for a DLP hotel and or park tickets?

Not sure, maybe if you book the hotel or buy the tickets through the US site you might be able too. Other then that I don't think so as the currency is different

I asked a similar question for my June 2015 trip, and US Disney gift card can't be used in Disneyland Paris. It would have been nice to use them thought. I think one response I got had something to do with currency conversions.

Even though you didn't ask about this, I am assuming you are American and I found this tip helpful so I like to pass it along to others. If you need or want to call Disneyland Paris for reservations, like dining reservations, call the main Walt Disney World phone number and ask them to transfer you to Disneyland Paris. Then you don't have to pay for overseas charges. We did this twice and it worked out just fine, but remember the time difference.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure about the currency conversion on a gc. That's too bad, as I have about $150 left over on one that would have been nice to use on a possible trip this summer.
