US Airways is merging with American Airlines. These mergers always bring a lot of issues. It's impossible to predict what will happen regarding fares/routes a year from now.

I've found their fares to be high when they first come out. Keep in mind they have a $200 change fee so I wouldn't be so anxious to book far out.
