Anybody gone with Us Airways before.Going with them end of May Indirect from Heathrow. They seem to called US Scareways on plenty reviews with their old planes,no entertainment and dodgy food.Worried?.

i wouldn't worry!
we have flown with them,a few times & had no problem at all.
we definately had inflight entertainment, with the seat back tv's,which had films,t.v programmes & games.
the food was fine,no complaints, typical airline food really:confused3
all flights were on time, leaving manchester, which always makes me happy!
all in all, they were fine, but that was my experience:)
hope you have a great holiday,
tracy

We flew with US Airways last October, Gatwick-Charlotte-Orlando, the trans-Atlantic part was on a new-ish plane, with a full entertainment system in each headrest with plenty of movies/music and kids stuff to choose from, the seat pitch is abit tight, I think it's about 30", the flight from Charlotte to Orlando was on an older plane but there was alot more leg room, Food on the 1st flight was ok, nothing special, no food on the 2nd flight, the cabin crew were very helpful, providing the price was right, I would definately fly with them again. :thumbsup2

it is an unusual situation that manchester with the a330-323's has a far superior aircraft via philly with us airways than the london via charlotte route with the 767. i was most impressed with u.s. when we flew with them whilst they were in chapter 11 proceedings. where are you reading bad reports from? I know for sure that the 767 wont be 30in pitch, more like 32ish, the 323's have 34in pitch. will take a look tomorrow.
