I had been waiting for SW fares for the end of August-Sept because I wasn't finding times/prices I liked at Delta, USair, etc from either Wash. DC airports to MCO. But on a whim I checked USair last night and now they are offering non-stops out of DCA at times I didn't remember seeing before.
As soon as I saw them last night I almost bought at $82 each way. But I went to double check with DH and when I came back I had to log in again. That time the price of DCA to MCO went down to $75 each. This was over the course of 10 minutes. Its not much, but when you're buying 5 tickets every little bit helps.
I might have been able to wait for SW, but I thought these prices were decent for the piece of mind of having the tickets in pocket, pre-selected seats and no need to do the 24 hour check-in so we can sit together. SW probably would have come out at $79 each way so its likely a wash for us, but now its done!
