So I've been watching the fares on US Air for the last couple of weeks since they are the only carrier out of our small town. Usually we go to Richmond and fly airtran.
So three weeks ago the average round trip ticket was around $457 I think. Then two weeks ago it dropped to around $347 which was the same as the airport about 45 minutes away that is a little bigger.
Last week they went back up to around $457. And this week they are down again. One of the flights I've been watching (one way tickets) was a little lower last night when I got home then yesterday morning and then was about $25 cheaper this morning. Another flight I checked this morning was about $57 cheaper this mroning then it was yesterday and now it has gone back up to more than it was yesterday. There have been other significant fluctuations in the last couple days. I've just never watched US Air so closely as this year and seen them jump around like this!
