Us 3000????????????

Has anyone heard or used this airline??

I found tickets for us out of Chicago NS for 196 pp...during spring break btw so we are considering driving to Chicago for a flight...I have never heard of this airline so any info is appreciated

HI!

If you search back a bit you will find a number of posts regarding USA 3000. We have reservations for THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY !!!!

Okay what I know. They are a charter airline owned by Apple Tours, I don't know where their corporate headquarters are but I always thought Apple Tours originated out of Phila., but I could be wrong.

We booked with them because of their low fares, they only fly certain days and there have been a few people on this board whose flights got cancelled. I haven't heard anything so I am hoping for a positive experience that my brother and boss has had in the past. My boss also knows one of the executives and when I was telling him recently of the cancelations and other charters going out of business, he told me "not to worry". He worked in the travel industry years ago, he is a salesman but he is also a frequent traveler.

I am hoping for the best and I keep checking their website for our flights and they are still listed and much higher than we booked, but then again, the hurricanes had not hit.

I would be careful. When one of these small airlines go bankrupt, they just stop flying. Not like the majors who go into bankruptcy to reorganize.
