Urgent Ticket Question - at disney now

Need a quick answer if possible....:

We have 8 day WPF&M tickets with park hoppers. We have used the tickets for regular park admission but have not used any of the WPF&M entitlements.

We have a friend who is in the area and would like to meet up with us for a few days. He does not have a ticket and his financial situation isn't such that he can afford one.

We are trying to stay in our trip budget so buying him a ticket outright is more that we can do right now.

Can we cancel the WPF&M option on our tickets since we haven't used the entitlements and use the price difference to put towards a ticket for him. There are five of is so it would be about $140 or so I think.

No I don't think so. Sorry, however it wouldn't hurt to ask.

But an option may be to go to the water park on the day he visits. Thats a cheaper ticket to buy for him.

As others have said, downgrades are not done...buuuutttt...it can't hurt to ask.

I have had luck at the MK ticket window outside the entrance in the past: I was able to return unused one day tickets this past March. And last year I downgraded parkhoppers and used the credit to purchase a TIW card. Both times I was told that they don't usually do it, but that they'd make an exception.
