Urgent quick question for those who have stayed at OKW studios

I'm in the process of packing for our trip, this involves packing dd2 to london on a school trip (where we need to go and pick her up to continue on to ORD). Then packing all of us for Florida. To add to this some of us are going straight to france from Florida so I'm also packing for that so that those cases are left in the car ready. -I am struggiling with all the ironing .

Does anyone know if the studios have an iron- If so I think I am going to throw the clothes in the case as they are before my arm falls off!!!

Yes from memory they should have an iron - I will double check on DVC site

**update*** checked on allears.net amenities list and iron and ironing board should be in closet (it may be a table top ironing board)
- tried to post link to list but did not work But search allears.net for DVCstudio amenities list

ironing board and iron are standard equipment everywhere on property, we even had them at values

if there is none in your studio, just dial housekeeping

Last time we stayed in a studio at OKW (October), it did have an iron but the ironing board was table-top and it was incredibly annoying and difficult to use. I wouldn't have wanted to do much ironing with it.

That won't be an issue- I'll iron mine, DH's and do all the French and school trip stuff ahead of the holiday, and then the girls can sort themselves out when we are there as dd1 is 19 but is a student working away as waitress in the summer, so brought all her stuff down last weekend and and dd2 is 15 but really too busy with school show stuff to help at moment. DH is already working too hard to help me out ( I have MS) at home as well as his day job.

It may make the girls rethink how much stuff you really need on a holiday if the have to sort and iron it on an annoying board when we are there

That is a good point. It certainly made me think twice about whether I wanted to wear a particular cardigan that needed ironing. I went without

We take enough clothes for a week then wash there. Saves on space plus normally buy a few tops. Def an iron. Have a good trip
