Urgent question need response!!!!!

So this question basically hinges if I accept or decline my invitation. So please, PLEASE DISboards, be right and help me out.

The only day I would be able to check in due to my father's work schedule, is May the 20th (I was accepted for Fall Advantage). I can just pick the 20th? Like, that spot won't get OVERFLOWED or anything, or like, I COULDN'T check in on that date right? I mean, I got invited, and if I accepted, I have a spot cemented for me...so there shouldn't be a problem having to be there on the 20th of May, right...?

RIIGHT?

Please, PLEASE PLEASE....help.

I think I understand your question. When you accept your invitation to join, you choose a date then and there. That date is then held for you. If the 20th is opened up, you can choose it, if not, it will give you other dates to choose from. My advice, accept the invitation and see what dates they offer. If there is not one that suits you, email them and tell them you can't come, or explain your problem and see if they can help.

Generally, YES you are correct. They hold the spot for you once you turn in your offer and fee and all that. You check in on that day.

However this past term..i believe spring...I cant remember where on the boards i saw it, some guy had a date in jan and i guess they over booked or something so they had to push him back a month..

I would guess its a rare occurance, but to be safe I'd accept and turn in your fee asap so that you have a spot reserved early, just in case.

There is a chance of the 20th filling up. If that happens, you would have to pick from the remaining choices (which is the 27th, and possibly June 15th). While your spot is saved, there is no guarantee for the date until you officially accept your offer.
