We're moving to Florida pretty soon, but we don't know where, so we're looking at high schools to help decide... I would be moving down late summer, so I can't enter into magnet schools or anything like that because of the lotteries... So, I need to know, what are the best public high schools in the Orlando area? My mom's heard good things about Winter Park and Wyndmore (spelling?), but if anyone has any other information, that would be great!! Thanks!!:goodvibes

Celebration is a wonderful school. My cousin went there when she was in HS. That is where I would be going if I still lived in Celebration. Btw you do have to live in or around Celebration to attend.

Dr. Phillips is good, especially if you're big on the arts - dance, drama, chorus, art, etc. They also have a Center for International Studies magnet. It's also conveniently right across the street from Universal. ;) You may be able to get into magnet programs. You could just call the school ahead of time and maybe they could send some stuff to you.

My cousins went to Olympia and they really liked it there.

I have friends that go to Freedom and Oak Ridge and I don't really think those are the best schools ever.

Dr. Phil high school I believe it is called...My aunt used to go there....

i think its actually dr. phillips...sorry it was bugging me hahaha but yes i have heard it is a really good school but like directly across from Universal CityWalk.
