DW called this AM to make our ADR's and ran into an issue.

We're checking in to an ASM family suite on 12/4, then into AKV on 12/6. The CM told us they could ONLY make ressies for our 12/4-12/6 stay at ASM, and NOT during the rest of our stay (12/6 - 12/12) which falls within the "+10" range.

My impression was that we could make our ADR's for our entire stay at 180 days from our 12/4 check in.

Was the CM wrong (we're calling back now to talk with another CM...but that really hurts with dining ressies when you're trying to get "hard to get" things) or was I

Did you tell them you had a split stay? If you did, then I don't think the CM was wrong. The reservations are seperate and I believe the 180+10 applies to a single reservation, so for your AKV ressie you would need to call back on that 180+10 day. I am not sure if they can see the length of your stay when you give them your reservation number...maybe someone else can help with that. If they can't then maybe you can call back and make the rest of your reservations using the ASM reservation number.

We are checking in Nov 30th and staying until Dec 10th and were able to make dinning reservation for the whole trip as long as we had hotel reservation number to give them

we are going over Thanksgiving. we have 3 reservation 3's and had no problems booking at the 180 day + 10 mark

I would call back and get another CM

Call Back!

Apply "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" philosophy.

They probably won't ask and you'll get your ADR's.

:)

Don't get into the particulars of a split stay with the Dining CMs. :headache: It causes confusion and delay, as the saying goes. Just tell them your check-IN date and your ressie # if they ask. Trust me.

Since we're staying 16 nights I couldn't book all 16 at the 180 mark, so it got very messy. I had one CM who argued with me up and down about booking more ADRs after that first set because our first ressie is 3 nights long, followed by more nights on a separate ressie. My bad for getting into that with them.

Don't tell them how long you are staying or that it's a split stay or anything else. The CRO computers don't interface with the Dining computers, so when you give Dining your ressie they can't see how many nights your ressie is for. That's why they ASK you what date you are checking in and where you are staying. The ressie number doesn't pull up any info!

We called back.

Long story short, the original CM was wrong.

We got most of our ADR's....missed out on Le Cellier and an early Hoop de doo (we'll try back at exactly 180 days just to see).

We gave the CM we talked to the original CM's name, and talked with a supervisor who promised to make sure the CM who gave us incorrect info was corrected.
