OOC: Can I edit my post to change it to the guys? They're closer and probably more suited for this.
OOC: Sure. And yeah probably.

OOC: Oh good, it was seeming kinda dead.
Adriano: He opened up the door. "Hi."
Candace: "Hi, I'm Candace. Literally just got here. So, I'm new. These boxes are kind of heavy, and they're filled with seriously way important equipment. And I'm not exactly the strongest person around, so I was just wondering if you could help me out. There's quite a lot. I'm heading up to apartment number 27, and if it isn't too much trouble, do you think you could grab a box or two?"
Adriano: "Yeah of course. We only got here recently too. Alan, Devin, let's go help."
Alan: "Coming." He made sure Devin could get up. "You good?"
Devin: "Yeah."
Candace: "Thank you so much." she replied gratefully. She took one of the boxes and tried to lift it up.
Alan: "I've got that," he said, grabbing it.
Candace: "Thank you again," she replied very nicely. To think her mother and father thought that she wouldn't survive here.
Alan: "I'm Alan, the Italian is Adriano and the other guy is Devin."
Candace: "Hi everyone. Candace Brown."
Devin: "Nice to meet you Candace."
Candace: "It's nice to meet you, too. If you don't mind by me asking, how long have you lived here?"
Alan: "A month? Two months?"
Devin: "You're asking me?"
Adriano: "About a month and a half."
Candace: Candace blinked. "That seems like a decent amount of time to get to know the place."
Adriano: "We can certainly find our way around."
Candace: "Have you lived in New York all your lives?" she asked. As she got up the last stair, she nearly tripped over her untied shoelace.
Devin: "If you mean in the state itself, yeah."
Adriano: He reached out to steady her.
Candace: "Thank you kindly, and that is so cool, I've never lived in a city before."
Devin: "You're welcome."
Adriano: "Cities are convenient, stores and groceries and stuff are usually nearby."
Alan: "Is this you over here?"
