The idea is that you can fit more presents under it. You like it?

If someone wants to have one, more power to 'em. But to me it just feels like having an American flag displayed upside down, somehow disrespectful. It could just unnatural, because trees don't grow that way. But come on, do we really need a reason to buy even more presents? I think I'll stick with the traditional kind, but no reason anyone shouldn't have an upside down tree.

I dont like this version of it ! But A friend of my family owns a restaurant in Acton Ma and has been doing REAL upside down tree for yrs!!! instead of having the tree getting in the way and taking up space. He would always take th etree and have it hanging up side down from the ceiling!!! i acant remember if its a real tree or artifical. I think its artificial, i could be wrong

It's looks wrong to me. I can't imagine a tree without a star or angel at the top. I like all the gifts spread out anyway and wouldn't want to pile them up high, so that logic doesn't work for me.

 hey Sue--longtime..... :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I saw on the news that they were actually developed for stores -- they needed a way to decorate without taking up valuable floor space. So the tree was supposed to be festive, but allow for more product to be displayed.

I think it's hideous and looks really tacky. I can't imagine anyone putting one in their house.

I, too, have seen trees hung upside down...in some type of commercial setting...not like the one in the picture. I thought they looked pretty good! However, for my setup at home, I prefer the traditional upright look.

i think it looks so stupid. and i would laugh out loud if i saw someone with one in their house. i guess im just like tradition, but if its for more presents, whats wrong with them spilling out the sides like they do now?
i vote that these trees stink.

I don't like it either but I thought we would have more yes votes.

I don't like it. Just looks strange to me.

That particular one is ugly, but I used to know a lady who did a huge Christmas open house and one of hers was upside down (from the ceiling) and was decorated *beautifully*. It always got the most ooohs and aahhhhs.
